    Mayweather goes OFF on Larry Merchant. He tells him he never gives him a fair shake and that he should turn the spotlight on Ortiz since he's through talking to him, and says HBO should fire him. :shock:

    Merchant says if he was 50 years younger he'd kick Floyd's ass!!! :shock::shock::shock:

    Feel Bad Ortiz had it, it was 2-2 or 3-1 Mayweather. He fought hard the headbutt was wrong. Also Ortiz shows respect and gets KO'd. Wrong and disrespectful. Even though I predict Mayweather would have won.

    Merchant confides that he doesn't really think he could have kicked Mayweather's ass fifty years ago. :lol: Good thing we cleared that up.

    He says that had that tirade not taken place his next question would have been "Why don't you now fight Pacquiao" - with the intimation being that Mayweather had the tirade in order to avoid just such a question. Merchant says he'll possibly get to ask the question after however long a layoff Floyd takes "this time". :yep Me-ow!

    This is as close to Merchant seething as we've seen since he went off on that dude in the mid-ring melee years back. Floyd got under his skin.

    cortez ****ed up again. he should ALWAYS be in between the fighters and place them in the neutral corners during breaks!

    fighters cant touch gloves by themselves it must the referee whod initiate it. wtf is wrong with cortez. he has already ****kkkeeeedddd up so many possible historic fights more than he ****ed his wife!

    Seriously, rewind it. They had already touched gloves. The ceremony of apology ended. They were making eye contact. Mayweather was quicker to get his game face back on. Ortiz's eyes were locked on his as he took that left hook, and then he failed to defend before the punctuation mark right hand arrived.

    It was no ***** move. It was slowness and stupidity on Ortiz's part.

    It was very much "time in". Ortiz was just too slow on the uptake.

    Perfectly good victory in my eyes.
