Any (unbiased) fan of the sport change their mind about the outcome of a Floyd-Pac bout, based on Floyd's performance tonight ?

Admittedly, we only saw four rounds and Floyd sometimes takes a while to adjust, but I felt he had slipped a bit, even since the Mosley bout.

Now I always thought that Floyd would have a razor-thin edge over Pac if they met (despite being a fan of Pac and NOT a fan of Floyd).

Based on tonight's performance, I would say that Pac now has the tiniest of edges.

Anyone else notice a slight decline in Floyd ?

To me he looked improved, he was actually throwin big shots and uppercuts, he was just so calm made him look a bit slower

They are both slowing down. I'd still take Floyd by decision.

I always picked Pac to beat Floyd, this is just further solidifies my opinion . Floyd did exactly what I expected him to. He fought the same exact fight he fought against Judah Corley and Mitchell (southpaws). He's too flat footed and stationary to beat pacquiao. The golden rule against left-handers is to ke p your lead foot on the outside, and Floyd doesnt even do that. He just walks back in forth in straight lines, and Pacquiao kills fighters who do that. You arent gonna beat pacquiao without lateral movement.

If you notice anytime Ortiz engaged and became aggressive Floyd was sent back on his heels and went behind a shell. He was right there to be hit. Ortiz is too uncoordinated / inexperienced to land punches, but Pacquiao would unload with combinations. Floyd whole gameplan against left handers is to walk them down and pick em apart, that is not the proper strategy against pacquiao.

But I agree Floyd is def slipping, at least physically. His hand speed/ legs are definitely slower. But on the flipside he threw some combinations for once which was a surprise. He needs to do that if he wants to beat Pacquiao. I was also kind of suprised by his punching power. I think he can crack a little better now.

Floyd doesnt do enough and pac is way too busy, fast and powerful. Pac would beat floyd around 116 - 112

Floyd wont be fighting pac, not in a 1000 years.

He didn't look that good in my opinion. Ortiz didn't look that good either. Where was the young hungry lion? Where was the fighter young fighter fighting possessed? More like a tamed cat.

Floyd looked timing wise a bit off. He picked it up in the later rounds we saw, but he looked fidgety. And his reflexes really didn't impress. He got hit with punches he shouldn't have from wild shots that Victor just threw. It wasn't anything set up. Pac has slowed down too. We will have to see how he looks against Marquez. If it's a quick and easy fight, I expect that Pac of now would beat this Mayweather. Mayweather simply doesn't have the activity or reflexes. It's rather simple.

Mayweather beats him easily. Pac will have the same problems b/c he is shorter with no reach and Mayweather will pick him apart from the outside even easier than Ortiz. Pac defense is his offense. He is open to counters every time he throws a punch and he cant cut off the ring. Pac would just walk into punches and not really get off b/c Mayweather wont trade like all the other fighters Pac beats. No long range game.

he dosent have the blinding hand speed he did against hatton - or against marquez- but he stays more in the pocket now- is going forward- and looks more solid and heavy than ever.
his timing is still the thing- and its as precise and sharp as ive seen it- he slipped and countered well- had perfect distance. still deadly. and a ****wit- but hey- you cant argue with winning.

U kidding, Ortiz sucks, he got out boxed by Lamont Peterson and quit vs. Maidana who was getting schooled by a bloated shot Morales.

Pacquiao has better stamina, workrate, speed, power, footspeed/footwork than Mayweather and is better in every single category than Ortiz.

Floyd TKO or wide UD. If Pacquiao can take those bombs then it could be interesting though.

i thought floyd look great, but flat footed. he still looked fast on body movment and punches, but hit feet arent quick compared to his judah fight. ortiz hurt him twice on the 4th round. the fight was turning out to be his most exciting match, till they both disgraced the sport of boxing. I felt ripped off buying the most expensive PPV ever. Morales and Lederman were both warriors of the night.

Depends on what "current" Pac really is.

Margarito Pac has a slight edge.

    Mayweather slaughters Mosley Pac.

I think Floyd will sniper Manny even worse than i first thought, i saw a very calm floyd even during the exchanges. pacquiao honestly has been fighting the same fight for the last 10 years with more headmovement and uses his right just a lil more, hes still the same clumsy jackass that leaves his himself beyond wide open..its mind boggling how often he does this, but the fighters he picks are usually drained past prime sitting ducks, and/or shittier versions after Floyd fought them

Floyd will f*ck up pacquiao badly and pick him apart mark my words..
