He got brutally KO'd but those who were supporting him tonight feel aggrieved at the outcome of the fight...

... Does this mean we can say that Mayweather won the fight but Ortiz win the event...?:think

He cheated then got cold cocked and lost his belt and some respect. And he got underpaid.

Can we really say Larry won the event when he clearly pooped his pants during the talking-to Floyd gave him?

You could tell. Lampley could smell it when they were standing there doing the wrap-up. He was displeased and wrinkling his nose the whole time.

Man, you have to read the Event Win Manual, by Vitali Klitschko. This is not how he outlined it. This was an Event Win Plan Fail. Technically.

Either Larry or Cortez. I would say Cortez personally, because as we all know, we pay to see Cortez featuring just some fighters in the ring.

I mean come on. All this week the buzz was, "Hey can't wait for the Joe Cortez show!"

Mayweather won the event. A reporter lying about beating a professional fighter with a time machine sounds too stupid. Ortiz disgraced himself. Mayweather is technically right in his argument. Being sportmanlike is a privledge when it comes to letting you guard down once the action is called. Fighters do it all the time. Ortiz lost that privledge when he made Floyd bleed with his cartoonish lunge butt.

Not to mention the hilarious irony of some Ortiz fans complaining that his treatment was both horrendously unfair and that his grasp on the situation wasn't firm enough. :yep It's like he orchestrated the whole thing! With mind magic!

Merchant won the event easy... IB i don't know how you can say Larry was scared... he is an old man and came back at Mayweather... he must have had a lot of adrenaline running through and all.. he did well with that classless fool

Larry shitting himself? No way, Larry was cool as Dirty Harry. He won that face off 100-0. Larry kept his calm and just grinned, Floyd was like little girl whining and screaming :D

If Larry was 50 younger, Larry The Greatest would have dominated Money.

His eyes bulged nearly out of his head (although I suppose it could be argued that was actually old geezer "Well I never!" indignation)

It was ballsy of him to try and march up in Floyd's face while issuing his hypothetical threat. :yep

Still...bowels that old and that much excitement can't make for clean undies. (what's the male equivalent of granny panties? gramp clamps?)
