Why didnt Floid protect himself when Silversurfer headbutted him?
He looked away from Ortiz and summoned Cortez.
Victor could have cracked him right there.

That would be a great undercard bout for a Floyd-Pac fight.

It's not about what Mayweather owes anyone, it's about whether or not he is apparently going to go back on what he has said:

Now, Mayweather came out in the last week or so and clarified that when he said recently that Pacquiao was next, he didn't really mean it (I think that's what he said, or something similar).

So, he may have to do something like that again if he does not rematch Ortiz, who asked for a rematch already.

Would the rematch turn out any differently? Who knows. Pacquiao seems to think Ortiz would have gotten Mayweather into trouble in the later rounds.

Guess we'll find out how this all plays out soon.

obviously the math would have to work out...if HBO doesn't want to pay for it, it wouldn't happen

if the everyone and their mother cries foul and the $ is there, it may happen...i honestly don't think it will...and i really don't want to see it, as i think it would be a total waste

Ortiz said he still doesn't believe that Floyd is THAT good. He said that he didn't feel Floyd's punches. He also said that he was letting Floyd hit him with right hands. Also something about after the 4th round their gameplan would come into fruition.

I'll be interested to hear what the HBO crew says when the fight is replayed. Want to see their take on a possible rematch.
