That's the reason floyd blew up. Oh Floyd can't take the heat? :smoke http://sports.yahoo.com/box/news;_y...nYcB?slug=ro-rogers_merchant_mayweather091711
Mayweather was right about one thing, Merchant needs to go. I counted 3 times during that card(and mind you this was in a theater of about 120 people screaming at every big hit and replay so it could have been more) that Jim would ask Larry his input, and Larry wouldn't respond for like 10 seconds. WTF? put down the flask and do your job.
floyd doesn't want anything to do with pacquiao even just with the interviews. floyd would rather fight guys like ortiz who he knows he can beat easily and is not much of a threat to him.
i love larry merchant, certainly not as the lead commentator but he provides something different as a support commentator
I think Merchant is right. Mayweather fouled himself out of the interview before the "Pac" word came up. :good
Well it was said Floyd looked over at Schaefer before his outburst and that fat little banker was to the one who signalled for him to cut the interview. Would make a lot of sense. They've made no secret they want Khan-Mayweather next.
You can say all you want but lil floyd will always be haunted with the name Pacquiao, the man he's scared to fight.
There is nothing in this world I would rather see happening than to see Floyd get his ass KOed badly.
I just think floyd's annoyed with Merchant, and I don't blame him. Merchant doesn't like technical boxers, and always ridicules boxers such as floyd and hopkins even when they're boxing well. Merchant doesn't like their boxing styles, but boxing is boxing, it's not fighting. At the end of the day, Merchant should of been ridiculing Ortiz because not only was ortiz the one who committed the foul, he was also the one who didn't keep his hands up. Ortiz commited a foul, floyd didn't. Big difference, let alone floyd gets the stick for it.
Bull****. Floyd is not Nostradamus for christ's sake. And if Merchant's nextquestion was about Pac it would certainly have been tinged with a spiteful twist.
Are you even a boxing fan? :smoke It does not take a Nostradamus to know that "THE QUESTION" will be asked. :smoke
