Has there been a more blatantly intentional headbutt at this level?

Please show it to me. That really disgusted me to watch and Ortiz got what he deserved, cheap shot or not. At least Floyd's cheap shot was with his ****ing fists.

When i was watching the fight I noticed it several times, he even did it in floyd stomach at one point in round 4. His corner definitely told him to do this.

Did anyone else notice ortiz legs momentarily buckle early in round 4 from a body shot?

Golota was worse. That's what mental midgets do when they frustrated. Though Golota was more likely a case of roid rage judging by the acne he had across his back and his neck.

When the ref deducted a point that was honestly the first time I noticed it. He was doing it previously too?

Absolutely horrible it was, WTF was he thinking.

Golota was the only guy I could think of, but I just felt like Ortiz's was even worse than anything I remember from him.

early round 2, they get close..i think floyd was on the ropes, and ortiz starts raking his forehead back and forth on floyd's face....was trying to cut him with his head from the opening bell

I think Billy Goat Ward headbutt(s) against Kessler deserve mentioning..

Although you have to say that he is not blatantly headbutting, Ward is to clever for that

There is no place in the sport for this ****. I would've DQed Ortiz before Floyd even got his chance to retaliate.

Floyd is pretty dirty himself, elbows, bending low, shoulder work on the inside etc, but he does not make the entire world know about it. Ortiz just lost it there and at a high moment for him, then forgot the most important rule in boxing: protect yourself at all times. In the boxing ring neither were a very good sport, but it created huge buzz over the world and Ortiz somehow got away as the moral winner. Certainly an unexpected if not a shocking turn of events, something that'll be long talked about.
