To those who say it wasn't a cheap shot... Wrong!

He told both guys to box and then told the time keepers to start the clock. He may not have used proper procedure, but Floyd is not looking at the ref. He's focused on his opponent like he's supposed to be. We're never going to agree on this, and that's fine. Ortiz got dominated,then got dirty, then got KO'd. No one outside of hardcore Ortiz supporters wants to see a rematch and there's a good reason for that.

 

Ortiz is either the stupidest kid in the world. Kiss, touch gloves, hug, apologize, and look away for an extended period of time only to get clocked. And when he gets clocked he doesn't even react. Just completely stands there without protecting himself un-freaking believable. Or this fight was fixed.

 

post video where Cortez tells the fighters to box. I haven't seen or heard it. Cortez did a terrible job. The fight was in time-out, but not time-out. Ortiz had it coming, but that was not legit. And it's not Mayweather's fault. It's the ref's.

The ref said lets get it on, and ortiz didn't defend himself, and he got punched, that's what happens, that's what you do when you box, you punch people in the face.

The hell it was. That gif clearly shows Mayweather has his hands up and seems to be warning Ortiz away, seemingly wanting no part of a third kiss and hug session after Cortez had called 'let's go'. After the headbutt you can't blame Floyd for being edgy. The kid didn't listen and the kid got done.
