    That is just the fact , Hbo has to bid to host fights like Showtime, that being said they hold themselves as the creme of the crop for boxing journalism, well they should act professional and employ professionals.

    Larry Merchant is one of the most entertaining, if not THE most entertaining commentator of all time. He's also watched more boxing than most anyone. Maybe Burt Sugar has him beat.

    Floyd can go in the ring with a bat and have an out option of letting Ellerbe choke Klitschko before the fight and in between rounds, and he'd still get put in a coma.

    Everyone is all of a sudden so hurt because the "old man" was disrespected by Floyd. Floyd doesn't owe him any type of respect. He rarely gives Floyd credit for anything.


    All Merchant does is disrespect fighters, and all of you ***gits cream over that **** as long as it's the guys who you don't like.

    :lol: Larry is legend. I don't think anyone on this site would say that to Floyd's face. Larry says it surrounded by Floyd and his team and doesn't so much as flinch.

    So if Floyd had turned around and told him to shut the **** up, you guys would be saying how ****ed up Floyd was. Floyd ignores him, and now Merchant is some type of brave legend. :roll:
