Got me wondering hes kind of wasted, thats twice now hes flown over to cover a 1 hour Boxing event on TV. Seems very bizarre can't be cheap to book him, he would be better off doing the main coverage on Primetime.

Get rid of Wayne "i can't understand a ****ing word" Mccullough stick Al with Benny :deal

Was pathetic listening to that **** have a dig at Morales whilst he was putting on a masterclass show, all he could muster up was words how Morales couldn't stop him and how he came forward still....

Who gives a **** you pointless ****:hi: bitter fighter who can't praise a legend.

He's part of the CH5 "return of boxing on terrestrial tv" team.

I guessed as much when he appeared last time at the Chisora fight......when Al exclaimed....."this is an important night because it heralds the return on boxing on terrestrial tv" (or words to that effect).
When I heard that comment from Al's lips I kinda guessed that he might be a "regular" on the "return of boxing on terrestrial tv".
Fair play to the promoters.......they obviously got Al in to try to create an international buzz about the winner of the Fury/Chisora fights.

Al is most likely on a five fight package deal or something similar......just the help the buzz about Fury.......so he's been paid to big up Fury........It wouldn't quite work if Al began to say that Fury had no chance as a top heavyweight!

Def enjoy Al being on Ch 5 ....
As you say, brings across that international feel for Fury, esp if he fights in Nov an then fights in the states after that ...

I thought Al was very good an in general for it being in early days, the Channel 5 presentation is pretty good.
I agree with the criticism of McCullouch, still bitter at Morales and at the start of the Mayweather fight saying something along the lines of "i hope Mayweather gets a stoppage tonight"- Impartial, moi?!?

Channel 5 production was very good minus showing the fight again instead of some undercard bouts.

I like Bernstein. Good on 5 for bringing him over. I don't know how much Al is costing them so I can't really say if it makes sense to have him doing other/more stuff.

He seemed to do a fine job on Channel 5 for Fury-Firtha, as he usually does here on Showtime.

He also enjoys doing it, and has publicly lauded British boxing fans as among the best and a joy to be around.
