Yep.... how this guy continues to get the high profile fights like this is beyond me.

Bayless should have been the man to go to in my opinion :deal

 

What sucks also is, after rewatching it, I actually start to pity ortiz. Not saying it as if I think mayweather was wrong, because I dont personally believe that he was. But I simply pity Ortiz.

He used his head, and that was just plain dirty.... there is no excuse for that whatsoever.

But also, part of me sees just how remorseful he was when he 'snapped out of it' so to speak..... and I have been there and know what its like to do something out of anger (he was probably beyond angry and frustrated with not being able to do what he wanted to do in there) and then instantly regretting it when you realise what you did in the heat of the moment. And you could just see the dissapointment and shame that Ortiz felt once he snapped out of it.....


I dont know, maybe Im looking too much into it, and at the end of the day, its not that important, its a fight and Mayweather finished it. But its just I do start to feel for Ortiz.... I really wish he would have controlled himself better in there :-(
