The debate is that you people think its cool for Floyd to hit his opponent with a cheap shot because he was headbutted in the fight,so that makes it ok.

Cortez,,,he should have been looking right at them,standing right next to them when they came together for the last time before the one two combo that ended the fight.Not looking away outside the ring for 20 seconds.Cortez mumbled "ok lets go" he didnt say fight! or BOX! and right after that he looks outside of the ring untill the right hand lands that eneded the fight.Cortez lost control of the fight after the headbutt.

 

if you don't want to embrace then thats fine, but to embrace and in the same motion throw a punch thats just plain old bad sportsmanship. The expected behaviour after an embrace is for both fighters to back up and put up their guard. Instead Floyd hits Ortiz when Ortiz is backing up.

 

If ortiz did this after a floyd headbutt you would all say floyd got what he deserved

 

i can't believe some are still arguing that it's not a cheap shot. you can call it payback, revenge, idiocy or naivety on ortiz part but what floyd did was a cheap shot.
