Haha seriously. Merchant's not openly racist, but he's had that reputation for 20 years. He only goes after guys like Mayweather. And before him Tyson. When he interviews Pacquiao, or Marquez, it's usually "Mr Pacquiao, can I carry your bag back for you"
By the way, I wouldn't be that surprised if Merchant got moved on. He's not very professional, and hugely biased. He's always been like that. In the 1990s, he was the same with Tyson - completely disrespectful, and abusive, no matter what the result. The truth is, every neutral boxing fans know that a Larry Merchant interview with Pacquiao is just going to involve him sucking up to the guy, and telling him how great he is. And a Larry Merchant interview with Mayweather is going to be him, trying to annoy the guy, and get him to react. It's not professional

Truth is: HBO need Floyd. If Mayweather decides he's not interviewing with Merchant, the guy's gone. If Larry was a little more professional, and less of an attention seeker, he'd have given up on this act years ago
White, Republican America, has never had a problem with hard working, Asians, who keep their mouths shut, and say please and thank you. It's usually the loud, know it all, black guys, who get the wrath of the American media. Be it Randy Moss, Floyd Mayweather, Ali, Mike Tyson.
