We don't know until Brook steps up a bit more. Right now you have to say Ortiz comfortably though.

When you think about this fight , it should actually be very do able , but for me , this should be a headliner in the UK , not the US , with a big GB card on the same night on tape delay in the US , thats what id be looking for if i was Hearn / GBP

One would think that Berto will be chomping at the bit for another crack at Ortiz , its whether GB and Ortiz see another war with Berto as the best option for the kid right now !!!

I like this fight , it pits two of the best young WW's in the division together , just the type of fights that bring out the best results in terms of competetive ness / excitement

As has been said, we have not really seen enough of Brook to see how he would do at this level, but I think that this would be a fascinating fight. Ortiz is vulnerable (he was naiive in with Mayweather, and very patchy with Peterson, to give recent examples) so while he has obviously operated at a waaaaay higher level than Brook, he has shown vulnerabilities. So I think it would be a fascinating fight and it is not impossible that Brook could pull off the upset. The best thing about Ortiz is the names on his record, imho.

I like Kell Brook but come on just look at who they have fought and its pretty clear they are at different levels. Ortiz wins easy.

although Brook is unproven he can bang a bit and ortiz is open to the right hand but if i had to put money on it id say Ortiz.

Berto is a title holder now, Ortiz isn't. I wouldn't be suprised to see Ortiz Berto 2 early 2012.

I think Brook has got another 2 gears than he has had to show and can easily step up to world level.I would give him a shot at any world strap.I think he will bang Khan out next year if Khan takes the fight.Matthew hatton is the more likely opponent though!

I think Ortiz would tko Brook in the later rounds, Brook has never had to do a hard 12 rounder or even a hard 10 rounder or even 8 and for that reason I think it would be too much of a step up for him.
