In reality is should be 5 weight champ since he was robbed vs Diaz for the LW title but 4 will have to do, he didn`t look as sharp as he did vs Maidana but he didn`t have to be as he was technically too good for young Cano.

It was Morales dream & the sole reason he came out of retirement, I could not be happier for him, if anyone deserves it its El Terrible.

The icing on the cake of a brilliant career.

    :happy

Only highlight of the night, I was very happy for morales.
But he needs to beat a top 140 gy to add value to the title, now its basically given to him.
Allthough he should have been 4 division champ when he beat diaz.

:deal he definantly is the right Mexican to get this honor. People can say what they want about it being a vacant title and all the opponent, but he's earned it through his entire career..

    El Terrible mother****ers!!!!!!

dude, that 4th title is f'n even more bogus than Pac's 154 belt.

Remember Cano is a last second replacement.

WBC is ass, they give out titles like candy these days.

They handed him the a paper belt. That's not what you call a 4-time world champ.

He should have beaten THE Champion at that weight.

In that case 2 wrongs make a right, he was robbed vs Diaz... so whichever way you choose to look at it, Morales is Mexico`s first 4 weight champion, all WBC titles & he deserves it 100% :D

Morales does not pick & choose who he fights, he`ll fight anyone, he wanted the WBC title & he would have fought whoever had that title.

Just be happy for the man, 95% of posters said he was wasting his time coming out of retirement as the 4 division title dream he had was never gonna happen but he proved them wrong... if you want to talk fighting a top 140 lber you only have to look 2 fights back were he in most people`s eyes beat Maidana with one eye... the fact that he could perform like that 5 divisions above his prime weight & WAY past his best shows you just how great he was & is.

A true legend of the ring & the greatest Mexican fighter since Julio Cesar Chavez.

    Viva El Terrible :bbb

Yeah, Morales is better than Arce, but give a guy some credit, no? Even Lampley and them don't recognize it - it happened on a showtime event.
