Floyd was great against a C grade club fighter who was just happy to get the paycheck.

But Manny would and will be a total different package , Manny punches faster than Floyd , hits so much harder and cleaner than any fighter he has fought previously.

Manny doesnt run out of ideas or energy .

The only point I now see is that I think it will be a great spectacle , rather than Floyd running and pot shotting , he now stands and fights .

Floyd will have more fans than ever after the fight but will lose his zero.

    peace.

If the Pacquiao that fought Shane fought Saturday nights Floyd, Pacquiao would've been knocked OUT! There is no welterweight in boxing who is stronger than Floyd for the full 12 rounds.

I've always thought the exact opposite. I find it funny how people can have 100% the exact opposite opinion. But that's life. I'm certainly not bashing your opinion at all. I just don't see how Pac beats Floyd. At all. Ortiz performance or not.

dude watch pac vs. mosley, i think the only way to beat mayweather is to ko him... because pac can't outbox mayweather... if he cant ko an old mosley, its impossible for mayweather...

I have the complete opposite opinion as you from watching his fights with Mosley and Ortiz. I think Manny is seriously up against it and will have a lot of physical and stylistic disadvantages to overcome.

I've got into the breakdown of it before, and it doesn't look good for Manny. But, to each his own. I will just say Mayweather would be the betting favorite in the bout without question. And that is not because people love Mayweather.

    exactly.
    Also he's wrong.
    Zab was faster than pac
Shane was more powerful than Pac
    Oscar was smarter than Pac
And Floyd has faced tougher chins than Pac's

The only difference I guess this time is he's getting all that mixed together, but Floyd has more dimensions to his game.
I expected Floyd to pressure Ortiz, but I didn't expect him to fight him the way he did. Pacquiao is in for some trouble as long as Floyd doesn't decline anymore and stays active

    This fight confirmed
    A) Floyd does not have the power to stop Pacquiao
    B) Yes he has serious trouble vs Southpaws because he cannot get the jab going.
That was Floyd's worst night of jabbing to date. Normal 40% vs ortiz he was pushing 10-12%
    C) He can easily be backed up and does not see the lead left and right hook so well

Ortiz won 1 or 2 (being lenient) Pacquiao would be too busy and too much for floyd, but we already knew this.

Floyd becoming more stationary, in turn more powerful, is what would concern me most if I'm Pac or a Pac fan. The timing on that straight right would be a killer for Manny, the bouncing in and getting out of position would be what got him beat. I also think PBF's jab looked good as well, which he can sometimes get away from. He would eventually walk Manny down and stop him, IMO.

Read what I said Ball , I didnt say he was faster than Zab, I said he was faster the Floyd.

Name a fighter who punches faster and cleaner than Manny who Floyd has faced ? it isnt Shane.

Doesnt run out of ideas or energy? again who else? Oscar was ****ed after 6 rounds.

I wasnt questioning Manny's chin. Oscar has a better chin.

The whole package is a nightmare for Floyd , he knows it and in reality so do we.

That's because he doesn't have any ideas in the first place. Let's remember how many ideas he had against Marquez and in Morales 1, oh yea none

I've always felt Pacquiao loses in a fairly one-sided fight. I still feel that way and am more confident than ever that will be the outcome.

The lack of an effective jab from Pacquiao to close distance is going to be his undoing, along with his offensive flurries that leave him out of position and off balance.

If you really think about it objectively, what advantages does Manny bring into this fight? Maybe a slight speed advantage and punching power, that's really it. Styles make fights and a guy like Mayweather is Pacquiao kryptonite.

    How many years ago?

Nobody is allowed to improve .

The p4p 3rd best boxer in the world was in close fights against euro fighters at 27/28. At 35 he is better than ever.

This is a sport were you can improve , can get better , it isnt all god given.
