I have no hatred or love for Larry. But he got what he had coming to him. I don't know about anyone else but while I was watching the interview I was wondering "how many times is Larry going to ask him the same question?" That's basically what he was doing just phrasing it different ways. You come to interview a fighter who's blood pressure and adrenaline is already running high. Where was the mention of Floyd being on his way to pitching a shutout on Floyd before the headbutt? NOPE. Lets get straight into discrediting the KO, which the vid shows. Also when Larry interviewed Ortiz, he didn't rip into him at all. Ortiz gave that half-ass answer when he was asked about hitting Floyd with the headbutt and Larry didn't say another word about it. Go figure. You see in the video how Floyd was gracious in the beginning and slowly gets more agitated because of Larry's smart ass ways. Like I said, that was one ass chewing he deserved.

Merchant has nothing but contempt for boxers that actually box, all he likes are "blood and guts warriors" that'll be suffering from boxers dementia a couple of years after they retire. ANY boxer he sees that's defensive and actually moves, he says they're running. I've seen his pattern over the last decade or so. PBF happens to be the best defensive fighter and has been for the last 15 or so years, so you can imagine what Merchant thinks about that.....
Merchant doesn't have an issue with black fighters I don't think, it just takes less for black fighters to get on his **** list. Merchant actually at times thinks he knows more about the application of boxing than actual boxers. That shows he's BEEN buying into his own hype for far too long.
