Cortez called time with 11 seconds left in round four Cortez says Lets Go (Floyd supporters say thats when he called time in) Okay so here we have it with 11 seconds left and Lets go ment time in We had an apology in Floyds ear Two hugs Two Shots While Cortez was looking at the time keeper of which Eze said he heard Cortez say (Bell?) Cortez was expecting the round to end Then Ortiz counted out.... What we never heard was the bell to close out the round... NO I AM NOT SAYING ORTIZ WOULD BE SAVED BY THE BELL SO DONT THROW THAT OUT THERE what I am saying is that with 11 seconds left, and all of that activity including being counted out there is a reason we did not hear the bell end the fourth round... Thats because it was not made clear to the time keeper ringside that time was in.... Floyd did his job, lets just say Lets go ment lets fight..... The ref and the time keeper ****ed up and someone has to hold these guys responsible because it wasnt made clear to Ortiz neither that time was in... Like it or not with a 10 second count after he was dropped, and 11 seconds left in that round your not going to tell me that an apology Two Hugs two shots all took place in one second.... if Time really was officially in, we would have heard the bell ending the round which we did not.
Again it is what it is.... its not Floyds fault if he beleived time was in, its not Ortiz's fault if he thought time was still called.. its the officials ringside and in the ring whos job is to make sure that both fighters get a fair shake.
Why dont you just make a thread: No matter what, I'm NEVER going to accept Mayweather won and I will keep searching for ANYTHING however remote and silly to try and support my hatred for Mayweather! Your acting like it was Mayweathers son who beat yours in the ring this past weekend and not Shanes. Sheesh!!
its a legit post... why dont you make a thread saying you get a quiver in your panties everytime mayweather's lips move you stupid phaggot
Cortez wasn't in control after Ortiz butted Floyd. He didn't even see Floyd land the left....he just saw the right hand that put Vic out and his face was priceless. Cortez is usually on point and in full control but he did lose it in rd 4.
I was thinking the EXACT same thingthumbsup Casual boxing fans like my wife, my 17 year old daughters and 2 of her friends were so angry after the fight..... "Thats bull****" Thats such a cheap move by that guy":yep They are still talking about it today they also said "Wlad or Vitali would never do that"thumbsup IMO most champions would not do what he did.... BTW this "we Ortiz head butted him".... remember what they say... 2 wrongs dont make a right:deal
Let it go. The whole thing was a pre-scripted show, anyway. see: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?p=10750570#post10750570
Dont mind them last night when I posted this someone asked someone to have it deleted. Cortez is NEVER on point, watch Holyfield Bowe 1 he allowed Bowe to Hit Evander Low all night, then hit Evander in the back of the head and ruled it a KD :deal People dont want to look at this for what it is, people are throwing out protect yourself at all times, or Victor butted him so **** it... No sir not so **** it the ref took a point justice was served... However a fighter has a right to get a fair shake and that didnt happen and there has to be some way to hold these guys accountable regardless.
Normal fighters would say "yeah maybe I was emotional and lost my head", and maybe even "Ill give him a rematch".... but PBF and gang will never ever admit that Floyd violated the unwritten rule....... and then after with Murchant?.... **** Floyd.... i will root for every guy he fights from now on and so will most people I have talked to:deal
If the timekeeper starts time or not means jack ****. Cortez clearly motioned for the action to begin, and everyone can admit that. So, what now? You are blaming the timekeeper?
