unbiased view.... i was shocked that ortiz went at him with his head like that. i then saw a grown ass man not about to let a 24 year old kid try that **** on him and he decided to teach him a lesson and put him in his place. i wish floyd would have put him in his place by laying a beating on him but whatever...he did it the other way. i'm not a fan of floyd at all but i can't blame him one bit for not giving ortiz a free pass for that. unfortunate for sure, a cheap shot if you are looking at it in the abstract and not taking into account that he was fighting a guy who clearly wanted to play rough, but not illegal.
Glad to see the overwhelming majority here have some common sense and realize it was a legal Cheapshot. I liked Floyd before this fight and was dying to see him fight pac and beat him, but all respect is gone and can't wait to see him get his. I cannot admire a coward and back his actions this time. He's a great boxer, but he's a despicable person.
Well atleast Ortiz didn't lure him into talk and then cheap shot him. Mayweather pretends to embrace him and then smoke him like that.. absolute coward.
i do not like floyd. but this wasnt some accident that preciptated the legal cheapshot. it was brought on by a guy who attempted to use his head as a weapon and wasnt even trying to hide it. yeah he was sorry for it but clearly mayweather didnt care. what mayweather did was cheap but i'm not about to say that i wouldnt have let may anger get the better of me is some kid 10 years younger than me tried pulling that ****. i guess what i'm trying to convey is that i'm not surprised
Disgrace ???? Absolutely not. Opportunistic --- yes. "lets go means fight" not Hug. After that headbutt --- no more gentlemanship. A coward like Ortiz deserved alot more than he got.
