The first fight I actually scored Lewis as the winner by 1 or two rds, but upon review I could see the draw. The second fight, when I was rooting for Lewis since I felt he was the better man in the 1st fight, I almost lost my alcohol when they announce the scores. I was like Holy****, Hoylfield was just ****ing robbed. Upon review of that fight and the Valuev fight, Holy was robbed worse vs lewis than vs Valuev. Rewatch Holy/Lewis2, not 1.
Interesting. Thought Lewis won both, with the second being closer than the first. I do agree though that Valuev - Holyfield was a highway robbery. Dull match, but Holy won at least 9 rounds. I remember nearly throwing my beer at the TV (Didnt know about the Evan Fields story back then) Now, I dont really care that he was robbed.
I was so **** drunk udring Lewis/Holy 2, that when Holy took control in the 3rd and took 7 clear round IMO that I did slam my beer down on the table at the announcement. My GF at the time was trying to settle me down, and my brother trying to keep the hooters security from grabbing hold of me.
Lolz :yep Btw: Valuev - Holyfield was the last time a foreign card (Without Danes in the main event) was shown on National TV in Denmark. Last time before that I think was Hamed - Barrera..
Pernell Whitaker Manny Pacquiao Oscar de la Hoya Julio Cesar Chavez Roy Jones Jr. Bernard Hopkins Evander Holyfield Floyd Mayweather Lennox Lewis So Pea is the best by my books.
If Jones had retired following Ruiz fight he'd be head, shoulders and a full torso above the competition.
