Just realizing what Mundine-Alvarez is all about: I think GBP's plan is - considering grandmas' favorite is a lock to win - is matching Canelo with the Brother Beater, which would be a really tough fight for the young Mexican.

Yeah, sure Mundine by UD. That fight isn't until next month though.

Speaking of next month...the first of October is one of those all day boxing affairs! There's about 8-10 real quality fights! CAN'T WAIT! :party:banana:soccerbl::bush:freddy

Edit- Hey is this my icon? :DD: It's called "DD" I'm going to say it is my icon. I have an icon! :happy:lama:party

Yeah, I think so. Macklin tired the last rounds, and in my view was pretty ineffective for some periods. Hitting gloves and arms isnt a way to win. At least not when the opponent hits you, cleaner and more precise, which I think Sturm did.

Macklin probably would have won it if the bout had been in Britain though.

I would favour Sturm to win a rematch more clearly, if he isnt getting past it. I thought he looked like crap, seemed he wasnt really there in the first rounds.

    Btw:

09/30 - Serhiy Dzinziruk vs. Lukas Konecny II has been cancelled. Dzinziruk is apparently injured. Source: The Scene

Some smart promoters could very well get him stripped, as he has only defended his title twice in nearly three years..
