Ortiz was in a position of engagement when Berto dropped him - whereas when Floyd koed him, he was completely oblivious that he had to protect himself making him more vunerable to being hurt. Floyd also hit him with a 2-piece which would have added to the damage of the finishing blow. Berto did hit him harder, though, for what its worth.
Sometimes I wonder if some ESB members even watch the sport. Ortiz got sucker-punched, ffs. He didn't see it coming. The punches you don't see knock you the **** out. Ask Paul Williams and a thousand other fighters. Vicious Victor got cold-cocked.
I think floyd has more power than berto...ortiz definitly was on planet namek when he tried to get up
he gets hit with full force hands down 2 times and hes faking...andre direll gets hit 1 time much less impact from a 6 inch scoop punch and hes apparently got brain damage.....love the logic from this board...
of course dirrell is a fake ass ***** and i hope he really gets beaten into a vegetable for pretending to have neurological problems.
I don't think anyone has said Ortiz was faking. I think he was legitimately knocked down, legitimately hurt, but maybe he might have had enough time to evaluate the situation. He might have said to himself, "I could bust my ass to get back to my feet or I could stay down and lose in controversial fashion".
yeah no doubt the punch was ahrd but ortiz knew what he was doing, any other boxer would have been furious.
relentless just proves 40,000 posts and he still is a moron who knows **** about this sport. hes like the the tallest kid in school but doesnt know how to play basketball
I'd call it getting paid.. No Ortiz probably wouldn't have won, but Mayweather would not have won by KO either.
