Pretty fair analysis, you know I'm a *****, but I agree with that. Although I'd disagree on 2 points, the second punch Ortiz probably should have tried to defend himself against instead of looking for the refs help. The first 1 I'm unsure if Floyd pulled a hug feint and smacked him or if he was just coming to fight. If he did pretend to hug then he is partly in the right. Mayweather had just been fouled and was going to foul back, albeit legally, that's what your taught in boxing. I think he must have felt bad that the fight ended prematurely because of that though otherwise he wouldn't have been offering a rematch. Ortiz was also as much at fault as Mayweather for not protecting himself

It's more negativity towards the more defensive boxers than discrediting anything. See his commentary in the Castillo 2 fight. The Baldomir/DLH interviews. See his blowout interview with Hopkins too

Merchant himself lacks class sometimes, ie when he asked about Katsidis late brother

Merchant just can't stand hypocrisy or phoniness. That was his beef with DLH. Like when he was suddenly emphasizing being the mexican to try and increase his popularity there.

A guy like Floyd? A guy who proclaims to be the best in the world but doesn't fight the best or only when they are way past their prime?

A guy who burns $100 bills on video laughing while people in the world be starving in bad times?

A guy and family that throws baseless accusations at Paquiao that he is drugging then mocking him with racist insults and then not fighting him?

Man, yall lucky Merchant didn't take his head off with an axe and just only verbally schooled him.

That was negative though and an unnecessary question though after he had already established Mayweather had a broken hand so was having problems putting an offence together. You can always win looking exciting/entertaining

What is hilarious about this is both of them are dicks and we have posters talking about how each one of them are dicks. Larry most definately doesn't like the way Floyd operates and Floyd can't take anyone saying anything about him unless it's about how great he is.

Bottom line is, BOTH CAN BE ASSHOLES sometimes.

stop hating on floyd bro. U MAD?

  10. I do hate on Floyd. But i'm realistic at the same time. I would not be biased.
    I think he'd beat Pacquiao, I think he's scared.
I don't think he broke any rules against Ortiz, I still think what he did was wrong regardless of rules or not.
He's a man child with no likeability or charisma. I can understand people being fans of the boxer but not the person.
I also think the attack on Merchant was pretty unprovoked at that time. I know he's been hard on Floyd in the past calling him boring etc but on this occasion. He was asking a legit question which Floyd like a shite politician avoided, and then he flipped and was shouting and jerking his head towards an 80 year old man.
He has no morals and no one to answer to.

What a ****ing talented bast though.

straight up bro you need to lighten up, yea i think floyd is the man inside and outside of the ring il tell you why
    1. He's smart with his money
    2. He has a good sense/idea of himself
    3. He takes care and provides for all of his family (all of his family)
    4. Floyd has a work ethic no other boxer has in this day n age
    5. 50 cent + Floyd Mayweather = Black Businessman Empire

  12. I love Floyd as a boxer, he is probably one of the boxers I watch the most, even love watching him train and love his work ethic etc.
It's his personality I don't like, none of your points are in relation to his personality.
But I guess people are fans of boxers for different reasons, your reasons are valid reasons. They just aren't enough for me to call myself a Floyd fan.

Why should Larry be a fan of Floyd? I mean as far as a boxer somebody is allowed to appreciate him, but as a person... He acts like the villian, his whole character is to make people NOT LIKE HIM, and make them jealous. So, this is what he gets. Just because after your interview you get out of character, and act like a normal human being typically, thanking god, giving your opponent credit.... Doesn't take away your hate from playing the villian for 2 months leading up to the fight.
