Sky would have quadrupled this, no?

120,000 views on regular sky vs 40,000 PPV buys

I know – imagine celebrating a slowly atrophying audience share…

Shot-term profit, long-term death of the sport in the UK. Well done, PT!

If that, he got 99k vs Mosley on the repeat, the live show did less.

99k on repeat, plus the live viewing, would surely total about 120,000. If Primetime only had 40,000 buys, it's a lot less.

Anything for a quick buck. I hope I'm wrong and if they get Pac-JMM III they have it on for free, but I wont hold my breathe

Yeah, probably right. 40k PPV is much more valuable than 120k on Sky though.

The exposure argument doesn't really hold water for someone in Mayweather's stage of his career.

I honestly wouldnt no how it would work with advertising vs PPV buys etc.

You think they would get £5 per viewer in advertising?

I'll admit I'm guessing but I think it very unlikely.

This isn't true, I told a girl I watched boxing this weekend, the first question was 'was it that Mayfeather', she doesn't know anything about boxing but knew who he was. People remember him from the Hatton megafight, which was hyped from the rooftops
