Floyd wide open after every straight right lead, Khan's speed will expose that.

He does seem to be open. Someone with good foot movement and a good left hook could make him pay for it. Of course he would have to be extremely accurate. Someone like Martinez fits the bill.

Ortiz can't be a benchmark for southpaws because mentally, he was just not there. Khan can't beat Floyd, but he poses a problem for Floyd that he haven't seen in a while. Khan would be the fastest opponent Floyd has seen. He's faster than prime Judah.

You and I agree on this. I think Amir Khan is the most likely fighter to beat Mayweather. He's tall and he's big and strong and very VERY fast. He doesn't really have stamina issues, he's long, he's technically sound, and he has the best trainer in the game today. Plus Mayweather is getting older. I think in a year or two (and after a few fights at welter) Khan will be in a postion to beat Mayweather.

kahn has very fast hands.. his footwork is also very quick but imo is not as useful to him as it could be cos he regularly finds himself off balance and out of position.

If khan comes up to welter and takes on Floyd he is gonna loose. Floyd will rattle that chin and is no maidana in that Khan would have been stopped that night if against a good finisher like Floyd. Raw speed alone will not beat Floyd.

Watch the McCloskey fight and tell me he is technically sound.. Although I do agree with a couple of years at welter and a 37 year old mayweather, khan does stand a chance.

i think martinez is the biggist threat to $ may but he is not a accurate puncher but hes size power and chin could be a big problem 4 may. $ could and most likely will utilize a boldomire type proformance to beat him.

$ may and martinez is the only fight i would be nervous for as a $ may fan.

The #1 thing any fighter who wants to beat Mayweather will need is smarts. Khan gets busted up all night. Its going to take a seasoned fighter with a lot of experience to do it. Only Pac and Sergio may stand a chance at this point like somebody already pointed out.

We all knew going in that Ortiz has had no answer for right hands, he was beaten down by them all night by Maidana and Peterson.

He was also tagged constantly by Berto's right.

Too early to talk about Khan exposing Floyd, I'd like to see how Bradley-Khan plays out first, because Khan hasn't fought anyone remotely close to Floyd's level yet.

Khan would be prepared for anything though with Roach in his corner.

**** sake. Didn't you guys learn anything from the past weekend? Khan, or anyone else on his level, has no chance of beating Mayweather.

    It's Pacquiao or noone.

Timing is your speed, there is too much emphasis put on having speed in boxing, there is alot more to it than what you see in front of you, speed alone is useless without having the proper intelligence of knowing how to use it,amir khan has never shown that, his recent fight against paul mccloskey is a clear example of not using intelligence, and on that basis,if he found paul mccloskey that difficult to hit then how difficult would he find floyd mayweather to hit?Amir is definitely not the man to beat Floyd.

If he can't hit McCloskey, he ain't hitting PBF.
