Wish you were right. But since the first Cotto fight, Margarito got battered by Cotto and Pac. Cotto had battered by Pac by I don't think it was to the degree that Tony did. And Cotto fights different now. He was very economical with his punches in the Mayorga fight. And Tony's punch resistance is now a big unknown...I attributed the knockdowns in the Mosley fight to his mental focus. But that was before I saw him get almost knocked out by Pac. It makes me wonder if he's finally hit that wall that all sluggers eventually reach

Good point of view, here is mine. I don't believe Cotto hits harder than Pac, specially now at jrmw, he is now a Boxer which ppl are claiming that it will mean the difference in the outcome, but you can say he was boxing Marg in the first fight but the speed that Margo was aproaching him drained his stamina. So I think that it was his inability to process a plan at the speed that margo attacks that was his downfall. With that being said will Margo be given the credit he deserves govern the fact that he has only fought 3 times since he beat cotto?

I agree with you on all topics! It seems that because cotto is slower than pac his opponents are able to brace themselves before impact whereas pac opponents never know where the punch is coming from...so pacs speed and angles def make a significance which make him seem stronger(im sure u already knew that though)! I see cotto jabbing twice as much, cuz that is the only thing I can see that has helped him since steward, and its proly all he needs to win a hard earned dec! ppl will never give marg credit though after the handwrap scandal, it seems challenged his mentality than cottos 1st loss

 

yes i believe ricans will rejoice and chanting "ojo por ojo" eye for an eye! and after marg gets surgery again he will ask for the complete pacquiao makeover so he can be like his daddy=pacman
