Seriously tho, I'm willing to trade any of them with posters with over 1,000 posts, providing of course I like you I've also just got Jimmy Wilde's book but haven't finished.

I'm willing to swap so long as I get mine back once you are finished and vice versa.

 

What's the Nipper Daly one like? I'm more interested in his fights than his life to be honest, anything about his fight with Seaman Tommy Watson?

 

The Nipper Daly book is one of the best books I've ever read! The author really done his homework on nipper's opponents. I've just had a quick look and there's a chapter dedicated to the Seaman fight (only a short chapter mind). There's a brilliant part after Nipper loses to Johnny Cuthbert. An older welsh bloke comes into the dressing room and says he had the fight in the bag before he got sloppy. The older fella turns to Nipper's trainer 'Professor Newton' and says "the boy should be rested professor (he was fighting every other week). Given time he'll be a world champion" to which the trainer replied "Mind your own business". The older guy says "Have it your way. But I couldn't walk out of here without saying something." Jimmy Wilde left the room closing the door behind him.

Truly a case of what if!

 

how about trading fight dvd's. ive been collecting fights (latest and old fights) for years, but there's always some fights im looking for what someone will have.

I've got Four Kings (George Kimball) and The Sweet Science (A.J Liebling) that I would be open to offers on. I would be particularly interested in swapping for War Baby or the Johnny Tapia or Chris Eubank autobiographies or at a real stretch Carl Froch (Not a big fan of athletes writing autobiographies while they are still active in their sport).
