Who can truly say.?A great defensive fighter who is seldom hit solidly and is rarely dropped, think Ali,can not be compared to a Max Baer who took dozens of left-hooks and right crosses from Joe Louis. Would Ali have been able to take those murderous fast
combinations from Joe Louis that the concrete chinned Baer took for 4 rounds, if Ali had Baer's porous defense.? I think not.
So on a purely proven iron chin in no order except time frame up :
    James J Jeffries
    Max Baer
    Paolino Uzcudun
    George Chuvalo
    Tex Cobb
    Oliver McCall
    Ali

Sultan would agree that his chin was the best...he'd say so himself, but he's never been one to

    No Marciano? No Liston? Asinine.

Marciano fought 3 Ring Magazine top 100 punchers of all time, was never hurt badly on film, and never stopped. Only floored 2x by hall of famers for flash knockdowns

Liston took huge bombs off devastating punchers like Cleveland Williams, Mike DeJohn, and Nino Valdes without flinching. Was never knocked down near his prime, other than a dive he took against Ali. Knocked one time at the end of his career by a Ring Magazine top 100 puncher

Im sick of these 1990s steroid freaks getting all the glory. Morrison was clearly a steroid abuser, Vitali tested positive in 1996 for steroids, and mercer probably took them too.
