Going on about why Oscar is so revered and well liked compared to Floyd, and how much better looking he is etc. I mean what a load of complete bollocks. The only reason he gives him any praise is because Floyd makes the majority of his fights look like a walk in the park, and even then the intonation is telling.
Em... he was talking about why Oscar was a star and Floyd wasn't. It was hardly an unfair point - most girls would rather Oscar gave them a good dicking than Floyd.

Well the point is that's why Floyd goes off on him like he does, because he takes every criticism in the knowledge that Merchant would like nothing better than for him to get sparked. Floyd was a bit out of order but it's understandable and as Froch said, it had been brewing for a while, and so that's why the reaction in this case was disproportional to what Merchant was actually saying. It was a pent up response to years of Merchant's praise through gritted teeth.
