Anyone suspect Floyd has "real fight" sparrings in camp?

By this I mean smaller gloves and no headgear and the partner is instructed to try to KO Floyd. I believe SRL had these for the Hagler bout. It might be one way he stays so sharp even after long layoffs. Do most elite pros do this?

PBF has real hard sparring. He admitted that Kasim Ouma was getting the best of him when camp first started.

Im a huge floyd fan and i think he does have very good sparring, im not sure about the no head gear but i think he will rotate his 3 sparring partners to keep them fresh which in turn would keep him razor sharp.

Floyd's body tells the story, he works really hard in camp and out. He's hard as nails, he dishes it out but also take it. It wil take a very good fighter to beat him.

I think Ishe Smith said before the Mosely fight that Floyd was sparring without head gear the day before the fight and he looked at Setve Forbes as if to say WTF?

He said Floyd didnt care and wanted to make sure he was sharp!

So I think maybe he does abit like Leonard.....

Floyd said he doesn't like calling them sparring partners. He says they give him hard work so they aren't sparing partners.

    why would u risk injury?

    Floyd has brittle hands..heck no.

and btw, the fighter that floyd beat Saturday was a sparring partner for Pac. Talk about feasting on somebody's leftovers.

He probably keeps it a secret, but I believe he has to have some sort of specialists involved in advising how to keep so sharp.

I mean, damn, after almost two years off, he has Marquez down in the 2nd round. Marquez can hardly touch him through out the fight. Floyd looks as sharp as ever

Another year off against Mosley, and except for about 1 minute, wins virtually every minute if every round.

16 months off, wins the first four rounds, takes virtually no clean shots to the head, appears to be on the way to winning with ease.

Even though it's alway expected to be the major factor, every time, shows virtually no ring rust. Many "experts" say it's impossible.

They were good enough to prepare him to whoop Ortiz's ass.
