Think Rigos on the Cotto Margarito undercard December 3rd against Rico Ramos to sort out the WBA mess. Cant see anything other than a Rigo win there. Could be hard to look good against Ramos though, he was exciting when he was fighting poor opposition but since stepping up hes put on his jogging shoes. Must be frustrating for Rigo, having fought in March not getting out again till December

Nice break down Matt. Do you know if this is being shown online (legal stream)? And if so, what time of the day (Irish time) does the boxing start? I know RTE were negotiating highlights of this - not sure if this was confirmed or not.

W@rren's news is bad for those of us with UPC, about 35% of registered TVs in the country (the south).
I don't think that Boxnation channel is available, nor is Primetime. A subscription to Sky Sports for boxing will be under threat when this goes ahead, unless they make moves to rival ******, or back other shows. I wonder would they consider backing a few extra shows over here on the back of it.

Brian Peters should be getting a deal with Sky to run the Irish shows North and South, we need a big Irish promoter to run regular shows

I cant see this working out for VVarren too much money. If he doesnt get the subs for the station then he is screwed. I take it Sky would of covered the broadcasting of his fights while he has been with them. That extra cost for every card will ad up. I hope Sky give the other dates to Matchroom and Hatton. I cant see Boxnation being around in 16 months time from them going on there own. Sky wont promote any of his fights for him and it wouldnt shock me if some of his fighters look for a move to a rival promotions company instead. Too many different stations showing boxing the subs fees will be crazy if you were to buy them all.

skys package includes ESPN, no point in subscribing to setanta cos they never have anything. Im happy to subscribe to this channel, its less than a pint a week in costs, and is going to have Sauerland as well as other promoters worldwide. Well worth it imo, much more worth it than Setanta has been the last 2 years anyway
