    Looking forward to the Final of this Series between Tim Hunt and Rivan Cessaire in a little over a weeks time.

    As pegson123 pointed out in another thread, the undercard features the two female matchups 'Dirty' Di Prazak vs Lindsay Garbatt and Melissa Hernandez vs Christina Tai, as well as a Joel Casey bout.

    TIM HUNT vs RIVAN CEASSAIRE

    The Final of this Series between Tim Hunt and Rivan Cessaire for the IBO Asia Pacific title is only 2 days away.

    The original 'cast' for the series read Nick Themelakis, Matthew Paulley, Tim Hunt, Jason Kanofski, Alex Ahtong, Jimmy James, Bobby Antonakos and Todd Kidd.

    By the first round of bouts Hemming had replaced Antonakos, and following the first round Matt Paulley retired.

    This was a sign of things to come, as along the way we've seen a number of personel changes, including the unfortunate late withdrawl of one of the favourites, Todd Kidd, due to injury.

    In fact one of the finalists, Rivan Cessaire, wasn't even part of the original group.


    Now it all comes down to HUNT (12 wins, 4 by KO and 2 losses) vs CEASSAIRE (9 wins, 3 by KO and 3 losses).

    In short, the qualifying was via a round-robin type system, where you accumulate points. Obviously those with the most points in the prelim rounds progressed, and if you lost before it became cut-throat you remained in the series.

    There are dat many loop holes that this series doesn't even make sense.

    How the fuk is Hunt one of da two best welters in Australia. He beat Paulley who was retired, Shaw who isn't even a legit welter and Ahtong twice.

    Why didn't he fite Kidd in da semis? Why was Kidd pulled out of da series coz of a cut but when Hunt woz cut nothing happened. The series bein sponsored by da gym Hunt trains at makes this look so suss...

    Only one of da original line up was even ranked in the top 10 in the ANBF ratings.
