KO of the year? Don't think so, but you can bet it will make the top 2011 bloopers list!

I'm gonna be honest, I ****ing loved that knockout. Perfect payback, when it happened I just thought that it was brilliant. Shame so many on here have hurt vaginas over Floyd and couldn't enjoy it.

So would you consider it to be a KO Of The Year candidate?

Notice Floyd glanced at Cortez to make sure he was not looking. He knew exactly what he was gonna do.

this is what i'm saying. the ref resumes the fight but floyd does not go guns blazing on ortiz immediately. he comes forward and meets up in the middle with ortiz and he allows to be hugged.

considering ortiz was still apologizing, seeing as floyd was going to meet him in the middle ortiz might have felt complacent. this is his stupidity coming into play.

floyd then times his punches the moment he established that sequence seeing as ortiz had his hands down

no need to explain it in detail. of course evrybody knew the deatils. it's just that some fanboys would rather not admit that it was a cheapshot or a suckerpunch. *****s are great with semantics. they would actually argue an established meaning of a word of the word to suit their needs.

Now that HBO has shown the replay last night which gave the opportunity for those who missed the PPV to watch the fight, I think it's a good time to bring up this topic once again.

Ortiz had 14 pounds on Floyd and had never been counted out on the canvas. He got KTFO!

Is it a "KO Of The Year" candidate?

    Why or why not?

Only when words are the weapon of choice and used to manipulate a peoples view from the truth.
In this case however Ortiz got knocked the **** out on a non-suckerpunch.
But of course Floyd haters and going to put on their hate goggles and see it how they want to see it.

It was an interesting K.O. but you would have to rewrite the unwritten laws of what makes a KO of the year in order to get this in there.
It has most of the qualification, It's main downfall however is the opponent making a Stupid Mistake. I know most knock downs are due to mistakes but not of this magnitude.

Its actually funny, anyone who actually watches the reply carefully can see that...Ortiz WASN'T going to embrace floyd for another hug, you can see him putting his arms out, arms length away apologizing until floyd stepped towards him spreading his gloves apart and nodding in acknowledgement.

Btw guys, I made this same thread on another popular boxing forum thats also being flooded and spammed with floyd nuthuggers and the same thing happened. Ridiculous. Cowards.

I'm no Floyd fan but Ortiz is the original coward for constantly ramming his head in a desperate attempt to stop getting schooled.
