What would make you believe Manny would do year round testing when he won't even do the dummied down version Floyd has proposed?

Simple. Its either he takes it if its passed down by law thru the commissions, or quit boxing.

For example: How would it look if the Dallas Cowboys said "we're not going to play the NY Jets until they undergo more stringent testing on top of the testing they already undergo because they hit too hard and play too strong". They'd get laughed right out of the damn league!

He wouldn't...but the point is either exposing Floyd true intentions with all the drama his accusations and demands caused....or validate them. If Floyd is willing to test all year round then it goes beyond a very convenient excuse to avoid facing PAC....it's about doing what's right and proving through actions that he's willing to lead by example as the boxer who cultivated the movement and saw it through. But my money wouldn't be on Floyd doing "what's right".

:patschLemme spell it out for you:

    1. cowardice/fear/ducking. The world had this suspicion when Floyd began asking special, never-before done (OSDT) tests when faced the possibility of fighting Pac.

    2. PED use. As the TS had pointed out, most of the times in real-life a guilty conscience can be the most accusative, as it tries to ease out and unburden its inner guilt-feelings, it tries to project itself into anything outside of itself and finds a scapegoat. ;) Not saying that Floyd is doing that, but basic psychology my friend...

    3. primma-donna gayness. when you demand every testing to be one-sidedly on your own terms and in your turf (eg., among others, day of testing cutoff, USADA-even if it's a non-USADA territory), it smacks of ghey. Not to mention that any party (which may be a habitual and expert PEDs user) can or may be able to go around the testing protocols when the protocols are, familiar to one or any party. While we're at it, as somebody pointed out, testing should be done by a neutral body as stringently, unpredictably and lengthily as possible (year-long, anyone?) to REALLY achieve the purpose of "cleaning" out even the most knowledgeable and veteran of cheaters. :good

Innocent until PROVEN guilty is a "******ed" constitutional principle then, thanks for the insight. :good

wait wait wait... I thought Floyd brought up OSDT to clean up the sport? How come I don't see that same intentions? So now Floyd's OSDT real purpose is to single out Pacquiao?

    Pac is on something.
You dont go from getting knocked out by small guys to taking punches from big guys and knocking them out unless you're on something.
Mayweather is fighting in the same weight class as pacquiao but he's not knocking guys out (Victor Ortiz doesn't count)

If you're the best take the test. Floyd is not the middle weight champion of the United States, but the world. Just like in the Olympic's where you have stringent testing the same should apply. Besides it's overdue. People cheat and no one is above it. Barry Bonds never tested positive, right?

he was a weight drained BOY when he was getting knocked out, and had not had the benefit of a world class trainer and team to LEARN HOW TO DO IT RIGHT. He got there on raw talent, and it showed.

Shots that hurt you when you are a boy won't when you are a man.
