Despite being a twisted scrotum, I have to admit it would be great if Bob puts on a huge fight on terrestrial TV. He's fighting Dana White at the moment too and I'd love it if he starts nailing their PPV nights as well

He won't put a huge fight on terrestrial. He is making a fool of himself just like he is with what he has been saying about UFC

Well assuming GBP use HBO for their next PPV, he'll have to put his fight on terrestrial as he won't do it on Showtime.

"They can go screw themselves, saying that they ran out of dates. When we had a date with HBO for Nonito Donaire, which was a date that we preferred, and Showtime called us and said, 'Please don't do it, you will be going up against our fight on Oct. 29,' and that they had invested so much into the super middleweight tournament, we said 'We understand, we'll go to HBO, and we got another date,' which was Oct. 22.

If that part of the article is true then this is indeed a below the belt move by showtime

"These two guys that nobody has ever heard of" - Bob Arum on Abner Mares and Joseph Agbeko.

    Sums it up.

Whatever you think of Arum he is clearly no idiot.

Well idiot is the wrong word but it's silly getting petty over this. Arum does what's best for himself like any other promoter does. He's trying to make out he was kind and considerate to move the Donaire fight as Showtime didn't want it to clash with Froch/Ward. Nothing to do with people probably not wanting to watch his two "guys that nobody ever heard of" over the Super Six final that night.

well to be fair, Id much rather watch Donaire-Navarez instead of Froch-Ward (rather watch superbad Barnes than Ward ), and watch Cotto-Marg ahead of Mares-Agbeko.
