Haye was speaking in detail on Monday for the first time about fighting Vitali since losing the World Boxing Association heavyweight title to the younger Klitschko brother in Germany in July. He insisted that a world title fight with Vitali would be a chance for redemption after his miserable performance against Wladimir. Haye said: “It’s not about money for me. I know I underachieved against Wladimir. "I wasn’t firing on all cylinders, for whatever reason. It wasn’t the real me in there, and you always want to go out [in your career] showing everybody what you really have. click for rest..
I don't believe that guy was retiring win or lose, had he picked Wlad's belts he would have milked that **** for all its worth, now he's trying to bounce right to another title shot having done nothing to earn it besides use his mouth to **** off the brothers. Seems its been a very effective tool to get him big money fights doing very little in the ring as a HW to earn it. Vitali KO8 if it happens. At this point I hope Vitali says "f this guy, he can go earn a shot!"
