thats the first i seen of him slip, he seems to have some decent pop in his right hand but he lacks variety and going to the body

Good win that, he only weighed 165 and that is his career heaviest, taking that into consideration I think he will end up at Middleweight.

However if he sticks around at 168 there are loads of good fringe North American Contenders that he could take on to cut his teeth against. I would be interested in seeing him in with either Dyah Davis or Francisco Sierra.

Heard an interview with him last night, he wants to fight at Middleweight and thinks seriously in the next year he could be after world title fights.

More interested in seeing him at 168 but fair enough. How about Tarvis Simms, awkward and has a good record.

Has to be said that Middleweight could be a really good division but the complete Title **** up has kind of ruined the development of that division and thanks to this there is a lack of obvious opponents for Martinez and Pirog.

Just noticed Quillin is fighting Tarvis Simms on the Khan/Judah undercard.

It's a decent fight. I remember Simms giving it a decent go against Allen Green on very short notice, slightly underwhelmed because Quillin is in his late 20's and he's been moved along at a snails pace. Not perhaps in terms of level of comp. but more in activity or lack of it. I think someone like Green would've been more ideal.

That he's in a bit of a mismatch against KC, as would be Green. :yep

    Interesting. :think

A stoppage of Soliman - even an old inactive Soliman - would be quite a statement.

Agreed IB, Sam's on decent enough form and is tough!. Wasn't overly impressed by Peter last time out.

Cheers for the info, Mand. Not too excited about Sam as an opponent for Quillin tbh. It's not much of a progression from Brinkley. Like you i would much prefer a Rubio fight.
