You did say that (page #5)..... out of context or not I couldn't tell since you are pretty much always calling people who don't say or think like some of you haters.... so it is difficult to say if you are just joking or not....

When you stop calling peoople who disagree with you haters, then people might think that you are joking when you say it once in a while.

    Until then....:deal

    I've always respected Pacquiao.

I did have my doubts on whether Pac could take a legit Welteweight's shot, but he passed that test with flying colors against Cotto.

No doubt about it, its going to take a special form of fighter to beat Pacquiao even as a Welterweight......only one fighter I'd pick against Pacquiao now at Welter, and thats Mayweather Jr. we all know will stick to what he does best and simply box safely on his own terms.

:lol::lol:That would have been my dream scenario.....Pacquiao doing what he did last night, but only Cotto having scored the knockdowns instead.:D

Who would the ******* have scored for if it was only Pacquiao boxistically dominating but the only one kissing canvas?:D:lol:

I'm not saying he would have won, but it certainly would have given him a better chance at the victory, there is no doubt about that.

Bottom line is that Pacquiao won because he's simply a great fighter.

Was it a bad idea and strategy for Cotto to have abandoned boxing mode and pressed the fight to seek to punish?
Absolutely, and I said this beforehand and not in hindsight.

Pretty good analysis.......except for the in and out strategy that you envisioned.

It turned out as I described it, that it would benefit Pacquiao to stay in to war for longer spurts that just two or three punches.

Had they fought in a 10x10 foot ring, where you're practially forced to dig in and trade, Cotto would have been taken out on a stretcher.......Pac is simply too fast, and has too good a staying power for Cotto.

Just looked at a few rounds of the Marquez-Pac rematch, and anytime Marquez hit Pacquiao with flush combinations, he never stayed to dish more......
.....he'd back up, reset, and let Pacquiao come to him....
If Pacquiao did'nt come foward, Marquez would then take the initiative to start the action so that Pacquiao could throw a shot for him to counter.

.....its as if JMM was pulling Pacquiao along to him with a string!

A good boxer would surely be wise to at least try to implement the JMM strategy, or surely risk almost surely to get bloodgeoned by Pacquiao.

Everyone knows he was the favorite but look less than 55% of people thought Pac would win the fight yet he destroyed Cotto easily.

Your pre fight excuse was pac being bloated at the weight, i guess we can safely use that excuse for when marquez faces him next. I mean if it good for one it good for the other.
