    Martinez would take target practice on Pavlik though. Bute would offer up much more with his southpaw stance and better elusiveness, speed, angles, accuracy, and close to equal power as that of Pavlik (different kind of power, really), though I could see Martinez schooling him.

    Martinez gets hit, quite a lot actually. He can absorb it at 154-160. At SMW he gets wrecked by a fighter with Bute's skills and power.

    Bute vs either Froch or Ward would be good match ups as would be against Kessler also.
    But I dont like the idea of Bute/Martinez as Sergio was a WW a few years ago and only went up in weight for the Pavlik fight which he won, but I dont think he is a true MW even.
    As for Dirrell, Dirrell was promising on the way up, fighting good learning fights but now he is given alot of praise as a fighter whos only big win is a DQ over a former MW with no SMW pedigree.

    Bute vs Froch/Kessler/Ward. Any of these combinations would be exciting
