This content is protected Floyd's power punch connects tell the story. We can see below in the next 3 photos that Floyd was focused on landing his power shots, mostly the right, and was using the jab to measure and check. Jabs that are for measuring and checking are not meant to land, so they do not increase compubox connects. This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected Floyd uses his lead in this next one to bait Ortiz and create an opening for the right. It obviously isn't going to be counted as a landed punch. This content is protected As we can see the focus wasn't to land the jab but use it to make way for the right. He easily landed the jab when it was appropriate, see him land 3 in a row at 2:39 of round 3. Floyd's measuring and checking brought his jab connects down which lowered his overall connect. Bonus clip, watch Floyd roll a southpaw left and counter with his own right. This content is protected
It has nothing to do with praise. We are simply talking about what Floyd did in the fight that worked for him.
Floyd wasnt landing his jab because he was facing a bigger southpaw. IIRC(I only watched the fight once and was drunk, so I may be remembering wrong) In the early part of the fight Ortiz was throwing his jab as well which turned the jab battle into a stalemate for both fighters. Later in the third and fourth Ortiz stopped throwing his jab and floyd started to connect on some. If you ever boxed you know jabbing with a southpaw is like sword fighting, the angles arent right. better to throw the straight right which floyd was doing, and doing exceedingly well in the 3rd
Mad about what? I'm laughing at you. The only reason you made this thread is because you wanted to show people them GIF's. The irony? Check my threads, Mr racist.
I'll make a thread for you too when Floyd ***** slaps the curry taste out of Khan's mouth next year at a presser.:rofl
Seriously though, you dont have to explain every one of Floyd's actions, even his punch stats I can never understand the mentality of fanboys like you.
