Damn, I can't decide tonight's main event. Jones has more skills, is younger, and is capable of finishing in any round. I just can't get over how he reminds me of Tommy Hearns, with his slender build and slender neck. I'm afraid if Rampage lands something significant, Jones' legs could just turn into jello or just fold like chair.
Even given his build which oftentimes indicates a Fragile Glass Mandible, I don't think that his Chin could be any worse than Keith Glass Jawdine's and Rampage was unable to finish him. Jones is the smart bet regardless of whether his Chin is solid or not because Rampage is going to plod and struggle with the lateral movement all night and when he goes to plant and swing those big hooks Jones will pop him in the face with the telephone pole jab and circle out.
Rampage couldn't put Keith Jardine (KO'd in seconds by a past-prime Wandy), Matt Hamill (obliterated in his next fight by Alexander Gustafsson) or Rashad Evans (smashed to bits by Lyoto Machida in 2 rounds) away, he has lost the 'Rampage' ability and is now just a flat-footed and pretty ineffective banger called Quinton, a man who hasn't stopped anyone in years and years. This toothless old joker is unrecognizable from the 'Page of a few years ago. This will be a complete and utter domination from start to finish, Bones will toy with a slow, plodding, one-dimensional brawler like Quinton, he has the option of picking him apart on the feet using his superior speed, variety and reach, or of taking Jackson to the mat, controlling him and beating him up down there. Considering how easily Jones took down Bader and Hamill at will, I doubt even Rampage's superb TD defence will be enough to stop someone as explosive as Jones. Whichever way I think of this fight, I see Rampage taking his most evil beating since Shogun. Which I won't enjoy much, as I like Rampage as a personality even though I stopped rating his fighting abilities some time ago.
Alexis Arguello had the same slender physique as Hearns and Jones, the guy was a 5ft 10in featherweight ffs (126lbs)! And he had no such chin issues, so not all tall, slim fighters have that same problem. Jones could as easily be an Arguello as a Hearns.

The problem with Rampage against recent opponents is he has been trying to play the roll of counter puncher against passive opponents. Jones may be willing to bring the fight to Quinton. Oh well, I'm going with skills over the puncher's chance. I see little chance for this fight going the distance. If Jones puts Rampage on his back, Rampage will not have any better success against those elbows than any other Jones opponent.

Rampage is going to get embarrassed this fight. Word on the streets is that he is in **** shape and looking slow as hell. It will be worse than when Wanderlei destroyed him. Remember where you heard it.
