IRRELEVANT...TONY HAS VERY VERY VERY LIMITED BOXING SKILLS..

HE CROSSES HIS FEET AND HE DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO SLIP A PUNCH OR BLOCK IT WITH HIS CHIN WHILE EFFECTIVELY MOVING FORWARD..

By the time he reached Pacquiao he was way past it n tailor made for Pacs style....:deal

That may be true, but a large portion of the video was discussing the movement of JMM. Floyd doesn't circle his opponents he fights in straight lines. This video doesn't really prove anything because JMM doesn't fight like Floyd. Now Floyd could adopt the Mosley gameplan and circle to his left, but I don't think Floyd is going to do anything different.

  3. THIS^^^

Floyd will Adapt,React, and Attack manny all night long in route to late round KO, OR a easy UD:good

Regardless..the thing here is JMM adapts...FLOYD CAN ADAPT BETTER..

As for the style...FLOYD CAN AND MOST LIKELY, WILL FIGHT TALL.

Pac will find a lot of trouble in coming in..PLUS YOU'LL SEE FLOYD "BOX OFF THE BACK FOOT" MORE THAN IN THE ORTIZ FIGHT...AND WHEN HE'S NOT "BOXING OFF HIS BACK FOOT" HE'LL BE FIGHTING TALL BEHIND THAT STICK:hat

    You're underrating Marquez offensive counterpunching.
Its an element Marquez is better than Mayweather at.

Offensively, Marquez is a more versatile combination puncher than is Mayweather, so I wish you'd stop claiming that Marquez is a lesser fighter.

On the notion that Mayweather is'nt a mover. That he does'nt use his legs to constantly lateral like Marquez.
I have no doubt Mayweather could implement that if he wished, but imo he does'nt have to do that to beat Pacquiao.
The key to beat Pacquiao is to make him miss with the first shot, and Mayweather is very good at doing that contortioning pulling out and to the sides.

The way Mayweather plays defense, he's always in the vicinity, but never right there in front of his opponent to be hit.

    Not underestimating it at all.

I know how good it is..Floyd is a better technical counter puncher than JMM.

At 13:20 of the second video: "I won't be able to call Manny the number 1 P4P fighter in the world.... Until he beats Juan Manuel Marquez again or he beat Floyd Mayweather Jr... "

Somebody call this dude and tell him that he better get the accolades and praises ready.:rofl

The fight is bull**** anyway just like the Floyd-JMM fight was. Manny will finally beat JMM convincingly, but he is using catch-weight to do it.

The guy in the video basically talks as if Cotto is a useless bum. 'Very poor defence, no head movement, what the hell is he doing here, no skills, bla, bla, bla'. Cotto isn't a great fighter, and I'm not even one of his fans, but he's good enough to be competitive with the best guys in his weight class. If he looked terrible in the Pac fight, it's partly because Pac was making him look that way due to his speed and offensive abilities.

Also, the guy kept saying that all you need to do is back-pedal when Pac comes in throwing combinations, and then time him with counter punches...easier said than done. It's not as simple as that -- firstly, you have to actually have the necessary footspeed to get away in time, especially when you consider how quick Pac is on his own feet. You have to be able to judge the distance between you and Pac very well, and you need excellent timing to switch from the backward motion straight into the counterpunching. Not only that, but Marquez was also able to counterpunch in combinations, which is something you don't often see at the moment. Not many fighters can attempt that strategy and get away with it.

Also, I don't even think back-pedalling and then countering is the ideal approach. When you go back in a straight line against someone whose best shot is the straight-left, it's obviously very risky. Marquez pulled it off, but he was also getting hit at many points too. I think a better idea would be to sidestep and move AROUND rather than go backwards. Look at the gameplan Nazim used against Pac -- he made Shane constantly turn him, and move away from Pac's left.

Right! It's so unfortunate that all those videos could not convince Floyd that he would beat Pac, hence, he continues to duck him!:-(
