Simms is hurt by another climbing combo of hooks that mountaineer their way from Simms' hips up to his face and leave him shelled up leaning back against the ropes. Simms manages to sneak out to the middle of the ring as Chakhiev slows his roll to catch his breath. BIG knockdown scored by Chakhiev with a sudden hook. Simms stays down until nine and a half.

They end the round with 10 seconds left. WTF?

Round 3

Chakhiev reaches across with his overhand left leads, pushing Simms back to the ropes until Simms grabs and pulls him in. Chakhiev bobs his way inside as Simms tries to place jabs. BIG left hook to the face springing up off his toes by Chakhiev. Nice body shots by Chakhiev. Simms' corner man is yelling for him to rain down counters to the body shots. Chakhiev is hurting Simms badly with left and right hooks upstairs while up on his toes coming forward. Simms' corner man screams to "KEEP THOSE ****ING HANDS UP", which Simms is barely able to do. They clinch and Simms slaps Chakhiev's sides. Very hard jumping left and right hooks by Chakhiev continue to cause Simms grief for the last ten seconds.

Straight lefts to the body by Chakhiev. Simms just waves his hands up top at the constantly moving head of Chakhiev. HARD upward body shots by Chakhiev, lefts and rights!!! STOMACH EXPLODERS!!! SIMMS IS LIFTED OFF HIS FEET DOUBLED OVER!! SIMMS IS DOWN!!
