    Ironically, he may get better fights because of that.

    Although that was one of the most premature stoppages I've ever seen (He didnt even get knocked down.. wtf).. I do think Saul could have ended it sooner had he wanted.. and I feel the ref sensed that. Saul didn't unload often, but when he did.. he really seemed to be effective with them.

    I think the early stoppage is better then getting Knocked out.. which is what I Think would have happened. Basically almost a smaller scale version of it was better for Ortiz to get dropped round 4 like he did.. then take a one sided beating to get KO later... you can always say robbery when it ends like that.

    Firstly I didnt see the fight,but of as you said it wasa robbery,its surely incompetnce instead of anything more malicious and dubious.

    Afterall Juan Carlos Gomez is for all intents and purposes the house fighter with Wilson being brought in.

    I dont think you can blme "Germany" for this one.

    Its not like theres millions of dollars and high end promoters wanting Wilson to beat Gomez

    It looked like a Williams-Lara. I had 1-2 rounds to his opponent, Terrible, Now Gomez's good 44-2-0 record with only a loss to Klitschko and someone else to a loss to a bum. Bad judges. :twisted:

    u r probably not the sharpest knife so I'll break it down for you:

    Gomez -----> house fighter

    Willson -----> brought in to lose

    Willson wins a close decision in a close fight with Gomez = absolute surprise given the context.

    Get it or do I need to repeat it?

    Hopefully you were being sarcastic Mr Money - Gomez looked like crap - amazing to see the German based fighter outpointed in Germany - but he was and was on his bike the whole fight. Congrats to Ding a Ling for coming to fight and for doing enought o convice the judges. Awesome result for him and a good call as I saw it.
