If you listen, they all agree with each other that Cortez needed to properly stop the action (which he did)

Properly take a point (which he did)

Properly bring the fighters back together (which he did)


They say he didn't do this, which obviously shows they actually didn't watch the fight but just saw the KO

 

He called time when Ortiz headbutted and got between them.

That was proper.


He grabbed Ortiz and walked him around the ring and took a point.

He brought them together and said "lets go"

They said he did none of these things. That clearly shows they did not watch the fight. Thats all I said.


Cortez wasn't looking at the fighters because he was making sure timekeeper knew to time in. (You hear him on the HBO broadcast ask "Bell Ring")

And my views, is that he did not expect Mayweather to hit Ortiz while they were embracing (again for the 5th time)
