Ok im tired of reading news about Eurobums lets talk about real important issues. There really hasnt been any boxing for some time now and its becoming more difficult waiting for good cards with the amount of crappy fights being put on lately. I still think Pac Vs Maquez is an overkill and Margo vs Cotto has lost its luster. Hopkins vs Dawson is another snoozer and Ward vs Froch was cancelled and now all I got to look forward to tonight is a black dude hauling like a wolfe and guys boning each other on the floor. My thoughts; boxing has lost major points this year...

Dude big fights happened, some were very good some were not, its better than the fights not happening right? Youre to critical on some fights and how certain fighters have positioned themselves this year.
You get someone who says this every year. Boxing must really be on an upswing if it gets this much better every single year.
Ok, ok I guess you guys are mentioning all the untelivised, undercards I failed to watch this year. What I really meant was there really wasnt a good old mega fight this year and it is really hurting boxing.
Not in the US. I agree that some years are better than others but I think generally the big fights are turning into either a big let down or a WWE event. I was a big fan of MMA until it became maintream and now that there gonna have free fights on cable tv I just wonder what direction boxing is gonna take. Anyways these are my 2 cents nobody has to agree and it is just an opinion from a long time boxing fan.
montiel vs donaire and hopkins vs pascal 2 were pretty damn impressive and were big fights. things that have happened this year: -hopkins becoming the oldest champ - wlad and vitali proving klitschko domination - froch and ward reaching s6 final - kessler getting back in the mix - Martinez proving his p4p status - Canelo rising - cotto vs marg set up - pac vs marquez epic trilogy will be completed - morales proving he wasnt as shot as people thought and becoming the first 4 division mexican - floyd proving he is still game - Bradley's rise and fall - Khan still going strong - berto falling and bouncing back - Rios proving he is one of the top 135 guys - guerrero rising only injury to prevent him from getting bigger vs maidana - salido ruining arums cake - gamboa becoming the top guy - Donaire destroying montiel and becoming p4p better and bigger in the sport now facing narvaez - Segura still going strong - Ioka upsetting a champion at minimumweight I probably forgot many things but this year is awesome for boxing.
