YEAH!!!!! Jon Jones beat Rampage by RNC

Rashad is def aggresive enough to get the job done.. I really don't understand all the hate for Mr. Evans.

 

What about Machida?

 

Rashad def isn't aggressive enough to come close to getting the job done. Thrusting a knee into the stomach of a half-fit and borderline shot Tito Ortiz isn't quite as difficult as matching up to a Jon Jones full of confidence and momentum. Jones is taller, longer, stronger, more powerful, more explosive, more varied and more skilled than Rashad. And Jones has never been stanky-legged into oblivion, so we must assume his beard is better than Rashad's suspect jaw. This fight is going to be a huge letdown to people who buy into the trash-talk and hype. Jones will dismantle him with ease, Rashad's resilience is never going to hold up to Bones's armoury, not in a million years. Machida would give Jones a better fight, at least he can bring some speed and unorthodoxy to the table, Rashad is simply a vastly inferior version of Jones, in that he mixes strikes with clinches and takedowns.

 

Too passive IMO.

Jones def has the advantage in this fight.. I don't think it will be as one sided as you believe.

I'm sure he will beat both men, so we can compare how the fights went afterwards if that's what you want.

 

Machida's activity level depends on that of his opponent.

Jones is going to bring it 100% intensity, so I foresee Machida working a lot in that fight.

We saw what Shogun's pace did to Machida.. I'm not convinced.

Machida did a poor job of fighting backwards in both of those fights.. Jones will get off, get ahead, and run with it.
