Protect yourself at all times. For you *******s calling people cowards get over it. Any person who puts on gloves and fight for a living is not a coward. Even guys who put on gloves and go in the backyard to slug it out are not cowards. The real cowards are the guys like Lance Uppercut who goes to a boxing gym one time and never returns bc he said it was too hard, then comes on the Internet and talks ****. :deal

    What Mayweather did was within the rules but anyone who can't see the difference in between that and the Peterson-Peden incident is a cretin.

    Let's Go means just that. It's not Floyd's responsibility to protect Ortiz or wait until his hands are up. The fight was on and he made a mental mistake and paid the price just like Nate Cambell did. Peterson wasn't in that fight dude.

    Yeah, sorry. Campbell, its late over here!! Either way, poor comparison if you are trying to justify what Mayweather did.

    Mayweather seemed to accept the apology and then clocked Ortiz as Ortiz reset. Within the rules but a real ****s trick IMHO.

    It has nothing to do with what the ref said or didn't say. It has to do with the fact it was unsportsmanlike. Floyd basically drew him in, knowing he wanted to embrace, and then within the split second Ortiz had backed up and was within range to be hit, Floyd unloaded the same combo he hit Mosley with. It's perfectly within the rules but make no mistake it IS a cheap shot.

    Its a poor comparison. What Nate Campbell did Nate Campbell did because he is an idiot. What Victor Ortiz did was because he was trying to issue a fake/real over the top apology and because hes an idiot. Not as much an idiot as Campbell is though.

    Cambell was trying to show off and clown Peden in the middle of action. Ortiz was trying to apologize coming off a break. Both stupid, one a little less justified.

    The point is the fight was on in both cases. Yes Ortiz was trying to hug when he should have been fighting. It's on him.
