Wlad is not a top 20 HW, he has never beaten anyone of significance

Before you label this another klitschko-hate troll thread by KOman600, you should maybe read it first..

David Haye: Had been knocked out as a CW back in '04. Knocked Enzo Macarinelli in 2, but everyone knocks Macca out. Knocked out an old war-torn Mormeck. Got dropped by the ancient Barrett. Was given a gift against Valuev, yes the same Valuev who had gotten schooled by a very ancient Evander Holyfield in his prior fight.

Samuel Peter: Seriously? Got dropped 3 times the first time out and in the second fight Peter was easily done and it still took him 10 rounds to take him out.

Eddie Chambers: An small CW. Period.

Oh and who can forget his all-time classic with Sultan Ibragimov? And for good measure Mormeck is next.

    1) what is your criteria for entry into your top 20 list.

    2) how do you define significance.

As far as i'm concerned wlad, over the last 6 years has defeated byrd, peter, iggy, chag, chambers, haye, brewster all of whom have occupied the top 5 at some point and most of whom held a belt around the time wlad beat them.

Add notable victories over brock, thompson and rahman all of whom have featured in the top ten and you have quite a few significant victories.

Plus you have no idea who the next champion will be which, if someone defeated by wlad, would raise his legacy even further.

By criteria of resume, skillset and legacy he sits proudly at number 13 behind louis, ali, rocky, johnson, holmes, foreman, lewis, tyson, holyfield, frazier, dempsey and liston.

In my separate who beats who list he is behind louis, ali, liston, tyson and foreman and is equal with larry and lewis.

Don't let hate & jealousy consume you. Sit back & watch history being made............

Wladimir will be a solid Top 10 ATG Heavyweight if he can unify the WBC belt with his already impressive collection. He's already Top 15 legacy wise and possibly Top 5 head to head.

I am noticing the trend of Klitschko fans to accuse others of jealousy. Can you please be so nice and explain how we are jealous? If you accused James Toney of being jealous of them, I'd understand but we are boxing fans, we wanna be entertained you know. So, please explain.

Joe beat his way through the top ten. Some of the guys Joe fought as champ were good....just they did not have the wins one now expects of a guy to get to be number one, like Two Ton Tony Gallinto. Who I noticed was top 1-2-5 for some two years. Dropped Joe for a five count. Abe Simmons, Buddy Baer, were highly rated.
Every era is considered weaker than the one before.
I've been listening to that story ever since the '50's...and Ali's time was not considered as good as Louis's.... Who's thought Lyle would be ahead on points in round 11.....
Lewis's time was not considered then as good as it is now. That is normal.
Holm's time was tainted by his refusal to unify...King's decision, and his kiddy parade.

Perhaps we should see your top 20 HW list?

I don't like Wlad at all, but ven I'd concede he is probably top 15

He scraped past no skill Sam Peter so he's definitely an ATG.

I would say jersey Joe Walcott and Ezzard Charles should both be rated above him.

When a classic forum alumni, who is predisposed to dislike Vlad and Vitali for nostalgic reasons, rebukes your outlandish statements, you have clearly lost all credibility:think

    They're not far behind.

    Wlad
    Sullivan
    Jeffries
    Langford
    Charles
    Walcott

But i'm about to revise my ranking of peter jackson and he could well end up above these 2.

For me neither were dominant heavyweighs for a long enough time to be considered as greater than wlad. Both have fantastic resume's and it is on that basis they rank as high as they do. But wlad has been king for 6 years running now and these two came nowhere close to that.

As skilled as these two were in a p4p sense, as heavyweights they just couldn't compete with wlad imo.

Charles does make my top ten p4p list though.

Which of my statements are outlandish? Or have I misread your post?
