Really enjoyed Prizefighter tonight I gotta say. All eight lads gave everything they had, there was a few wars, it was competitive and we had an underdog winner. Plus it was all focused on the boxing instead of a past prime contender in it as it has been a few times lately.

I blame spotty subway reception (and ESB's servers just blowing..)


I really am curious to know what people think. That could have been an interesting extra fight or two for Jeff, depending on what deep reserves of energy he could have summoned up.

Maybe he can tell us himself when he logs on!

 

That was a great Prizefighter, so many evenly matched fights - looking forward the Superfly tourney

 

I was going to turn it off after Jeff's defeat. I'm really glad I left it on as it was a great atmosphere all round. Those boys gave it everything and did themselves proud.

 

Didn't watch the other fights in the end due to Mark not doing his job properly! But Jeff started to look drained and at end sagged on the ropes. I don't know who he would of had in semi's, No doubts he'd of given his all and he somehow carried power into a weight way way above his real fighting weight. May of got to the final's at least because the lad he fought was a tough stylistic match-up for him. The others may of suited him and with a 30 min rest may of re-collected his thoughts and breath .

I wouldn't be shocked to see him on more Matchroom cards fighting prospects/floater bouts. He's a good fighter and he showed that last night i think Hearn was a lil shocked by how good he was. Jeff's record doesn't really tell the truth.
