The fight is on! Im actually exited about this fight. Dont know why. Anyway Im going with Grant on this one. How about you guys??
two dinosaurs living in denial pretending they still have it when they never really did in the first place
Well atleast two big names in the HW division are actually fighting each other. That dos'nt happen to often in the divison today.
Yeah:good Because two big names in the HW division are actually fighting each other. That dosn't happen that often in the divison today. Thats why.
Grant by KO. He's not in his prime but still he can fight. Botha is too old and shot and won't survive more than 6 rounds. It should be a good fight as long as it lasts.
Two decent, but not quite world class fighters still plying their trade and trying to make some money. More power to em. I'd like to see it. Grant for the win.
OK, I understand Grant wanting to p/u a minor title(WBF) in his last run for a title, but at this juncture in his career, 37,38 y/o, he needs to be fighting a better named opponent. I'd say Fury, but Fury's power might trouble him long enough for Grant to fall back on the cards. I'd say Dimitrenko, but he's not risking his shot at Vitali for nothing. I don't expect to see him fight anyone top 100 in his next defense. So besides Wach's baltic title, Rodriguez WBC FECOMBOX and Welliver's 2000 HW titles, that leaves Banks, about the only surefire win for Grant. Wach and Rodriguez starch him, Dimirenko would never fight him, and Fury would easily outpoint him due only to Grants fear of being smashed. But we know Banks didn't consider him when Oquendo backed out last month, and Lord knows Grant has been pushing for that fight, so I guess that leaves only the vacant title Holyfield was set to defend against, BOTHA. Should be a decent enough fight, and show us if Grant still has that killer instinct. He has Adamek, but failed to capitalize...Botha would worry him so much, so he should KO him in impressive fashion.
It seems like the contenders are ducking Grant since he almost upset Adamek. It's not the Arreola fight, but good on him to get the opportunity. Expecting a Grant victory here. Meanwhile Arreola will fight a TBA in Mexico on Nov 5.....time is running out to find a decent opponent.
Kind of. Even though they are getting older. It is cool to see two classic fighters in the ring together. Neither should be fighting still but these matchups are fun.
